Iain Tolhurst, prominent in the organic movement for over 45 years, is a leading expert in stock-free (veganic) organic horticulture and low-carbon local vegetable production systems. His farm exemplifies productivity through agroforestry, biodiversity, and green manure systems. In 2023, Iain was awarded an MBE for his contributions to agriculture.

Organic Medicinal Herb Growing Course

Starting February 2025, the College will launch a one-year course in organic medicinal herb growing, developed by contributors to this seminar.

Core College, which has been offering a four-year professional training in Master herbalism for the past 24 years, also plans to introduce courses in Equine Herbalism in the near future.
